I've been meaning to post a question about this, also, so I'd appreciate it if you all would respond to the list. We're trying to move away from the dot matrix printer, but we carry numbers out to 7 numbers after the decimal (Dewey). With the Gaylord labels required under Rel. 2006, however, we can only print labels for numbers that do not exceed 5 numbers after the decimal point. Our dot matrix printer is slowly dying and label printing has become quite tedious. I'm hoping Rel. 2007 has enhanced features, as promised.

Thanks,

For those of you who have upgraded to Release 2007, I was wondering
about the printing issue reported on this list earlier this year. Our
system is flooded with Okidata dot-matrix printers, as well as Epson
receipt printers. Laser printers have been pretty much avoided because
of the cost of toner / maintenance. However, back in May, we noticed on
the IUG listserv mention that there are issues with dot-matrix printers
that may prevent them from being usable. Is this true? If so, how have
you overcome this obstacle? I'd really, really like to move to R2007
because supposedly, it will fix several issues with our server, but if
we cannot use our Okidatas, we're up a creek without a paddle. Please
let me know. Thank you!
