Re: [IUG] Purchase alerts

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]
Good afternoon! We're on Rls 2007 and we use a wonderful new feature in
Millennium called "High-demand holds" to track the purchase alerts and
to be able to keep an eye on items with large holds lists! We LOVE it!
Look at the What's New section of the manual (p. 107673) -- it's the
first item listed there with links to how it works! I hope that helps!
Kind regards, Eev

Could someone give me feedback on how they handle purchase alerts?
Purchase alerts encompasses everything on the list and we are only
really looking at our books. We've also been looking at the view
outstanding holds tab in circ but that is also cumbersome. There also
isn't a "holds" file for create lists but I think there is an
enhancement in the future regarding this. That might be an easy way
to
limit by location.

Thanks for any help in advance,

Mary
