Could you just remove it from the PATRONVIEW_START wwwoption (man page
106849)? I believe if you did this, it would only display when the
patron clicked the reading history icon.

In "My Library Account," if the patron has no items checked out the
reading history is shown where normally the patron would see what is
checked out. This is confusing to some - it's not clearly marked that
this is Reading History instead of items checked out.



Has anybody tried - and preferably succeeded - to have Reading History
show up only when requested instead of showing automatically when the
patron has nothing checked out? I've read the manual and the WebOPAC
FAQ and it's looking to me like this is Just The Way It Is.
