You could also search for "Partially Paid" order records.
But in all likely hood it is a result of something that did not unencumbered correctly, something entered in the wrong field when doing X or Y records or the wrong field in the Fund Adjustment section.
When I do our Fiscal close, I set all funds to zero, then do manual adjustments to each fund code based on the order records still listed as On Order. Thus I know the fund started clear at the beginning and also have a way to backtrack if needed, using the payment history file exported to Excel once an month, which then lists all activity for each fund.

Subject: [IUG] Encumbrance question
Hello!
We just completed our fiscal close as well as the appropriations process for the next fiscal year. We decided it was time to clean out some of the codes that we don't use any longer. Two of them still have encumbered funds in them. We searched our files for unpaid order records so that we could change the fund to the new one but have not been able to find any.
The frustrating part? The amount of money involved is only $150.00!
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
Joyce
