Hi Joan,

We experienced the same problem with one of our remote locations. As it turns out, they'd made a change on their firewall. I sent their firewall administrators a copy of the Firewall FAQ on CSDirect--this outlines some specific settings that should/shouldn't be used. They were able to quickly fix the problem.

Hope this helps--
Leigh

Hello,

We have a unique problem at one of our libraries. One day last week,
staff were in Millennium Circulation Notices mode and Millennium
crashed. They could not log back in. Staff went to a second computer,
entered notices, and the same result. When they attempt to log into
Millennium, the java box displays but nothing happens. Within a day,
all computers encountered the same problem. None of their computers can
run Millennium. We have reinstalled Millennium but this has not fixed
it. We visited the library and found that our laptop encountered the
same problem and could not run Millennium. The library can use the
character based telnet system without a problem.

Has anyone experienced a similar problem?

Thanks.

Joan
