- Subject: [IUG] Need help for Percon B321 bar code reader.
Dear colleagues,
While collecting barcodes during our inventory project using the portable b321 Percon bar code reader, our Percon unit has completely locked up. We have the following error on its display and don’t seem to be able to get out of that screen. Hitting any of function keys on the BCR does not change the situation:
“Program failed, memory low”
No download of the bar codes to the PC (using the Percon software) is possible. I have contacted Innovative Helpdesk and have received genuine help but unfortunately they have not been able to solve this problem for us.
Does anyone know any sort of tips or tricks that they have tried on their Percon B321 which helped them break out of this fixed phase and download their barcodes from the scanner? The limit for input to the bcr according to Innovative is 8000. Unfortunately our unit has frozen after scan of about 3000 barcodes. We would like to save the work that has been done and not have to rescan the bar codes. Any help will be appreciated.
I would also like to receive your suggestions for alternatives to Percon B321 bar code reader, which have not had this sort of problem for you for your inventory project.
Thank you very much for your help.
Hadi
