We are just implementing Patron Feeds.
I have 2 questions
1) What information do you supply for users about the Patron Feeds?
Could you point us to any help web pages that you have provided?
2) Has anyone made the patron feeds work within a portal environment?
We are already using the patron api to supply limited information in our student portal eg Books on loan, and fines incurred. However what our students really want to know is when books will be overdue.
Is there a way of making the feed automatically available for each student in the portal? Or creating a function which would make it easy for them to set it up in the portal (we use Blackboard)
As far as I can see, for security each feed has a unique address
eg /feeds~S1/pat/3c66cf6c91419817.xml
which bears no relation to the patron number
/patroninfo/1010024/
