Hi Sheila,
Thanks for your reply. It's very useful to know for sure what happens
in practise with R2007, this will certainly help inform our descisions
on materials bookings and self-issue for short loan items.

I am disappointed that Innopac can't account for a future booking and
just shorten the loan period of another patron appropriately. Give us
an option to set overriding by default when issuing over SIP2 and it
would work perfectly. We have a four-hour 'short loan' period too and
it is not at all user-focussed to deny checkout of items because there's
a booking three hours, forty-five minutes away. *grumble*
