We are suddenly having some strange encounters with a "Verifier error"
in Millennium Acquisitions. The error reads "Field group does not have
pattern field(s)." Often, but not always, this error will hang
Millennium requiring an ungraceful exit.



I have done quite a bit of troubleshooting on this, but I cannot find a
sure-fire consistent cause. It seems to have something to do with a
line display verses a box display for checkin boxes, but again, this is
not 100% consistent.

This problem has NOT surfaced when accessing checkin boxes from
Millennium Serials ... only from Acquisitions.

I have checked the manual and CSDirect. I found a service commitment on
CSDirect that says "verifier error," but there is no description of the
service, it seems to be for Mill. Serials, and it requires specific
record numbers as if a particular record would have a problem. I do not
believe our problem to be record-specific as we have had issues with
multiple records for the past 4-5 days.

Any insight or experience that would help me solve this problem?
