[IUG] Slow macros on Millennium Mac client

I have had a call open with the help desk for a year about macros in
Millennium Cataloging running very slowly using the Mac client. By slow,
I mean typing characters at a rate of about one per second.  

Have others had this problem and has anyone found a solution?  Actually
it has been a problem for us for about two years.  The cataloger in
question ends up using a software program to take over the desktop of a
PC when she wants to catalog.  It is so inefficient.

Any help would be appreciated.
