Thanks for that info, Terry. Making the change you suggested (DNS vs.
IP address) worked for us, and we have access again.

I want to follow up on this since I got a call from the III help desk
this morning. If you are having this problem, one thing that you might
want to check is how your Z39.50 Client is configured to connect to the
LC resource. The library of congress upgraded their server this week (I
was at an RLG tools meeting on Wed. where a member of LC's team had
mentioned that this was coming) or late last week and as a result, their
IP address has likely changed. So, if you're Innovative Z39.50 Client
is attempting to connect to the LC Z39.50 server via IP address -- it
likely will no longer work. If, however, you use the DNS
(z3950.loc.gov) then you shouldn't have any problems.
