Hi Doug,
I run into the same situation when I run of list of Alliant San Diego items because sometimes the bib for all the campuses has a different call number then our item. After I create the list of items I export the information from the records using Millennium Create Lists. I create an export file with two call number columns. The first column has the bib call number and the second column has the item call number [I think the column is blank if no item call number exists]. You can contact me off list if you want more details on how to create and import the information into Excel.

Subject: [IUG] Utilizing Millennium to generate a shelf list for a branch location
Good Afternoon,
Does anyone on the list have experience with creating shelf lists for
branch locations? We have been trying to create a shelf list for one of
our branch locations utilizing Millennium without much luck. Some
background info: Call numbers for titles held at the Main library are at
the bibliographic level while call numbers for titles held by the branch
library are at the item level. An exception to this rule occurs when
both the Main Library and Branch Library have the same title with the
same call number. In these cases, the call number for both locations is
taken from the bibliographic record. In cases where the Main library and
Branch library have the same title but with different call numbers, the
call number for the Main location is at the bibliographic level and the
call number for the branch library is at the item level. Any help or
suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Doug
