- Subject: [IUG] System messages about library patrons
Since we went to Release 2007, we have regularly been getting system
messages that say:
tty14299 webpac: 0307145909 There is no library patron with:
xxxxxxxxxxx at gmail dot com
Has anyone else seen these? I am wondering where they are generated and
what their purpose is?
I did open a call with the Help Desk and they could not tell me anything
specific except that it did not seem to be adversely affecting the
system.
I just wonder if patrons are getting a message when they attempt to
export records, or what?
Also, since Release 2007 we have gotten messages that say "There are two
library patrons with XXXXXX at grinnell dot edu dot " This is nice as it alerts
us to duplicate patron records.
