Dear all,
Can anyone confirm if Release 2007 really solves the problems with
self-issue using SIP2 and materials booking?
I am talking about the problem where self-checkout of items using SIP2
does not work if there any future bookings on the item. Doesn't matter
if the loan period overlaps the booking at all. Innopac treated the
booking as something equivalent to a hold and denied checkout.
The R2007 final enhancements list says this is fixed, that is that
booked items may be checked out using SIP2 so long as the loan period
does not overlap the booking period. This seems clear enough, but I've
had a report from another Innopac site saying this is not true. I have
read page #107499 of the R2007 manual and am now not sure what to
believe.
Anyone using R2007 and using Materials Booking care to confirm it one
way or the other?
Thanks,
Andrew
