Greetings all,

We recently had a large number of titles come in from Baker and Taylor
pre-processed, mostly fine except for a glitch in the brief bib record
which recorded the location as 'zzzz' error. The records were overlaid
with the complete bib which included the correct location 't' in
addition to the error location. I wanted to delete the 'zzzz' location
so I did a create list for all these files and then went into Global
Update to delete the code, but I don't see any way to delete a
fixed-length field. I see delete is an option for variable-length fields
and duplicate fields, but not fixed fields. Can anyone tell me why this
is and if there is a way to do it in Global Update? I'd rather not have
to do all those records by hand. Thanks!
