Sheila,

The Print command will print or email the list you see in Send Claims;
it won't print out claim forms or email claims to vendors (that's the
Claim Print or Send button on the upper left).

This process will record a claim in the checkin box for each issue, and
I'm pretty sure those would have to be removed from each individual box
if you want to clear them. (You can delete items from the list before
giving the Claim Print/Send command so they don't go to the vendor, but
that doesn't alter the checkin box.) You'd have to weigh the cost of (a)
some slightly misleading claim numbers or (b) a lot of tedious record
cleanup against the value of the list itself.

John,

Can you print or email the list without actually triggering the claims,
just to create the list of claimed items?

"Late" isn't a status; it's how "Expected" status displays after the
"days before claim" interval has passed beyond the box's expected date.

I don't know how to use Create Lists to work with that ("days before
claim" intervals are too variable), but if you go into Claiming, click
the "Claim All" button at the top right, and then go to Send Claims,
you'll have a list of all late issues that you can sort, print, etc. (Or
a list of late issues with claims to print, and another list of late
issues with claims to email.)

Hi All,

I have a related question regarding late issues in Milser checkin boxes.
Is it possible to create a list on the word "late" in a checkin box?
Late doesn't appear in the drop down list under status. Does anyone know
how to pull a list for issues with the status of "late" specifically?
Is it possible? Any input on this subject will be greatly appreciated.

You should be able to do this. In Create Lists, select "Checkin and

Card cc" for the record type.

Then:

Type = Checkin

Field = CLAIM (g2)

Condition = Greater than or equal to

Value A = 1

This should pull up all the boxes that have claims

Please forgive my ignorance, but I don't deal with serials much and our

serials person is new.

Is there some way to pull a list of all serial issues that have been

claimed?

The checkin card boxes say CLAIMED 1 or 2 or such but the status is

still Expected and we cannot seem to find any hook for a search to

gather them. And the Claiming function just gathers those that are Late

and in need of claiming.

If I want a list of all those that were recently claimed (say CLAIMED 1)

can I do that? And if so, how?

Many thanks.
