I've got a scheduled task that downloads a day's worth of Analyze Searches stats (text-based) to a csv file. It's not something it would be useful to share, as it's based on scripting Host Explorer telnet application. I've been meaning to upgrade this to use Web Management Reports since I obtained Macro Scheduler, but there's always a more pressing task to do. We also found it useful back when we stored our OPAC banner on a server external to III - we could look at web logs. But now, it's all based on the Analyze Patron searches data.

Subject: [IUG] ACRL statistics on virtual visits
Do you know how to obtain the answer to the ACRL supplementary
statistics questions 9b, What is the number of virtual visits to your
library's catalog? You are supposed to exclude virtual visits from
inside the library.
In text-based, I went to
L > LOGIN names & parameters
N > Limit NETWORK access
23 > List non-local access attempts allowed
This only gives me about 2 days worth of data. I suppose I can
extrapolate. Does anyone have any better ideas?
Thank you.
