Good day, all.

One of our sites will be closed to the public sporadically during a building remodel.

Staff will continue to work at the site. So in theory we could continue to supply
patron requests through paging. But we need to prevent patrons from choosing the
site as a hold *pickup* location.

Our consortium uses title priority paging. We allow patrons to place holds from the
OPAC.

Does anyone have prior experience with managing such a circumstance? Specifically,
have you found it possible to suppress the site from the pickup location list, but
still allow for title priority paging to page the site?

I've been poring over the "Location Closing Temporarily" FAQ on CSDirect, and even
talked a bit with support staff at III. The FAQ implies that removing the site from
the pickup locations table will also prevent the site from being paged. Although the
logic of that is not entirely clear to me.

Please contact me if you have any experience to share.

Thank you,
