Dear all,

For those of you who use non-Roman scripts I wonder if you have had
complaints from some users of your public catalogue who cannot
access the Roman scripts.

For example at SOAS scripts are stored in port 1080 so to access
scripts publicly users go to http://libnew.soas.ac.uk:1080/
However it seems that a proportion of our users cannot access this
port presumably because of local or internet provider firewalls. Has
anyone come across this?

I also wonder why does the Unicode table have to be on a different
port, why not port 80? Does it interfere with other characters?

Many thanks
Colin
