Hi Diane,
We use My Millennium for staff who need to see detailed record
information, yet don't need the full Millennium software. Our
collection development librarians are the heaviest users of My
Millennium (or "staff mode in the web catalog" as we like to call
it)--they need to see usage statistics in the item record, fund and
payment information in the order record and catalog dates, etc from the
bib. Millennium is overkill for what they need but My Millennium is
perfect.
As for settings, we defined buttons for the public and staff wwwoptions,
set a ptype to associate for staff logging in, and customized the logged
in message to note "staff mode."
Hope this helps--
Leigh

Good afternoon,
Our library is considering implementing My Millennium. I would be
interested in hearing how libraries utilize the staff options in My
Millennium, what you find especially useful, etc.
Thanks for any assistance
