[IUG] Job Posting: Access Services Supervisor

C/W MARS, a 140-member library consortium headquartered in Worcester,
MA, is looking for an Access Services Supervisor to manage our
consortium's public services.

 

Our network's public services include: 

 

*	Innovative Interfaces OPAC, 
*	CONTENTdm digital library services, 
*	Serials Solutions federated searching, 
*	Overdrive electronic media, and
*	Website design and administration.  

 

Specific duties include:

 

*	Supervising a departmental staff of two;
*	Participating on various internal staff teams and network
committee projects;
*	Serving as a member of an eleven-person Library Applications
team that provides general ILS support to member library staff;
*	Conducting group training, both online and in person;
*	Presenting information to groups, both online and in person;
*	Taking a leadership role in various statewide initiatives.

 

MLS and supervisory experience required.  Innovative Interfaces
experience preferred, but not required.  Familiarity with HTML, CSS,
JavaScript, PHP, CMS platforms, and experience in implementing Web 2.0
functionality in a networked library environment highly desired.
Starting salary range: $46,000 - $56,000.  Excellent benefits, including
4 weeks vacation.
