That's what happened to us. It wasn't messy to the casual user but we did have a hard time figuring out how to manipulate the webpub.def file to get some of our field labels to display.
IMHO, the whole III web interface is a nightmare to customize:WWWOptions, tokens, two CSS stylesheets (one for IE, one for the rest), HTML, webpub.def. It's the hardest computer game I play.
