Dear Heather, 

There is an issue with IE 7 and the web opac. 
You need to check the settings for HTTP1.1 in the Internet Options. 
In IE7 got to tools.
Select Internet Options
Select the Advanced tab
Scroll through to HTTP 1.1 settings
Select (green tick) Use http1.1
Deselect (no tick) use http1.1 through proxy connections

This has solved this problem for us.

Hi all,



I have a patron who says that when she tries to log in to her account to
place holds, etc., her browser (IE 7) freezes up. She doesn't even get
to the page (pverify_web) to enter in her name, library card and PIN.
She freezes as soon as she clicks on the Log in to your account link on
our OPAC (http://innopac.fauquiercounty.gov/). She's the only person who
has reported this to me. Her operating system is Windows Vista Home
Premium. I've already mentioned having to enable cookies, etc. Has
anyone else encountered this problem?
