Doesn't briefcit.html override that BRIEF option?  I did change to "L" 
and try in staging and it didn't seem to make a difference.  Since the 
locations don't display either on the briefcit screen or on the bib 
record screen, it's got to be something I've not defined somewhere.  Our 
call numbers are linked to item records and not to bib records since we 
use both LC and NLM call numbers depending upon the campus location and 
some other factors.
