At the risk of splitting hairs...on my system that will cause the 
Mill client to run in a *large* window, but not in a maximized 
window.  (Where maximized means the window occupies the entire 
viewport, cannot be moved, cannot be resized by dragging an 
edge/corner, and displays a restore down button instead of a maximize 
button in the middle of the the upper right corner.)

I tend to run most applications in maximized windows, but found with 
Millennium it was less work to click the maximize button once the app 
was fired up than it was to drag the Millennium-"maximized" window 
out from under my task bar (and then still have to click the maximize 
button when feeling particularly obsessive).

I'm not aware of a way to automatically achieve a truly maximized 
Mill client window (using JRE 1.5.0_12).  YMMV.
