Hello,
I was wondering if anyone else has had patron reports of trouble using
the "my account" portion of the catalog. They can get into their
accounts, but when they try to renew they are kicked out and asked to
log in again. Once in their account, if they search the catalog and
place a hold or if they modify their personal information, they are
kicked out asked to log in again. It's happening to a small, but very
frustrated, group of patrons.
When there is a problem it seems to happen with MSIE, but not all MSIE
users experience this. It does not happen with Firefox. It does not
happen on our public workstations where we use PWB. We've been able to
recreate the problem on some staff PCs in the library, but we're unable
to figure out what is causing it. We're using Windows XP in the library
and so are most patrons that experience this. But not all XP users have
this problem, and we can't recreate it on all staff PCs.
It started happening after we moved to WebPacPro last September. We're
running version 2006 1.2.
Any ideas??
