We're thinking about using auto notices too.
When you say, "autonotices must be configured to be sent out every day."
Do you mean every day the library is open or every calendar day?

One quick additional note to keep in mind - autonotices must be
configured to be sent out every day. If, for some reason, the system
fails to process any of its notices for one day's cycle, all autonotices
are lost. Other notices will go out the next time notices run, but
autonotices will not - at least that has been the case for us on the two
occasions when our system failed to send out notices on a particular
day. I do not find this terrible, just annoying.
