Our system was down and I could not test this the day I posted, but now
I have tested and also contacted innovative to find out a limit.
It's 8 characters, I believe.
I went to millennium "Login Manager" and began to change my login
password to a lengthier one and it stopped accepting characters after 8.
If it accepts more, it may be as someone suggested to me and only looks
at the first 8.
I just wanted to post in case anyone else had the question.

Subject: [IUG] Millennium LOGIN password length
Hi everyone,
I hope you can help me. Our system is currently down for an
implementation, and I cannot test this.
Does anyone out there have login passwords (NOT initials) that exceed 8
-10 characters in length? The documentation is not clear if there is a
limit in the number of characters in a password, although it does
recommend alpha lowercase and numeric only.
Any information would be GREATLY appreciated!
Lee
