Hello,

We are using TeamSoftware Solutions Public Web Browser for our in-house
OPACs. Our catalog contains records with foreign language diacritics &
characters so we also have utf-8 encoding and are supposed to use Arial
Unicode MS font. On our live server OPAC I am able to view the various
languages on 'my' PC, including Chinese characters, with Verdana font. This
is not the case with Public Web Browser. I have tried increasing the font
size in PWB to no avail. Chinese characters appear as blocks. The only
solution in this case is to add the Arial Unicode font file to all computers
using PWB.

Since that font is only available through a MS Office installation (or by
using an 'illegal' copy of the font file), how is one to handle this
situation? I know the font can be purchased separately, but at a tremendous
price. Any clues?

I am not a PWB expert.

Thanks,
