You will find much discussion of your IE Pro tab display problems in the listserv archives. Our library addressed them by much reworking of the iestyles.css file, which has special styles called when IE is the browser. You are welcome to look at our css at http://library.meredith.edu/screens/ie_styles.css. Most of the changes there are documented with comments. It also contains other changes related to color and format that are not related to your question. One problem you didn't mention is misaligned tabs at 800x600, which is used by more patrons than one might guess.

Hi all

We have recently moved to webPac Pro. I have loaded the webPac Pro files
on our QA server, http://libraryqa.ecu.edu.au/
<http://libraryqa.ecu.edu.au/> . and see the following problems:-

I have noticed that the tabs behave inconsistently in Internet Explorer
on a PC. In most cases they are OK, floating a very small distance above
the rest of the page, e.g., http://libraryqa.ecu.edu.au/
<http://libraryqa.ecu.edu.au/> . However, in the help pages, e.g.,
http://libraryqa.ecu.edu.au/screens/help_index.html
<http://libraryqa.ecu.edu.au/screens/help_index.html> , in Internet
Explorer, they seems to slide partly behind the rest of the page . I am
using Internet Explorer version 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.070227-2254

Also, when using an Apple Mac Safari version 2.0.4 (419.3) the tabs
appear OK but the display is scrunched up to the left. This also happens
in Safari 1.3 (v3.1.2.)

On Mac Internet Explorer the tabs on all pages are stacked on top of
each other even when the screen size is big enough to allow expansion.
This is in version 5.2.1 (5815.1).

The display seems fine in Firefox on a PC (version 2.0.0.11) and also on
Firefox on a Mac (version 1.0.7). It is also fine in Opera Version 9.24
on a PC.

Has anyone else seen this, and if so, can you suggest any solution?

I have reported this to Innovative.

Kind regards
