Subject: [IUG] Advice Needed: Self Checkout Stations for New Library

Hello Everyone,
We, at St. Norbert College in Wisconsin, are in need of advice pertaining to
Patron Self Checkout Stations. We are planning our new library and our
architects are asking for our specifications and want them yesterday. Any
advice is welcome as we've not used this technology before and know that
whatever we choose now, we'll need to live with for eternity.

Please let me know what has worked well and not so well....brands, models, set
up of equipment and ease of use, etc...

We use barcodes, 3M Security Gates and Tattletape. We need advice for desktop
and standalone stations for patrons to check out and desensitize books, dvd's,
cd's, videocassettes.

Thank you and Happy Holidays,

Kimberly Boldt
