Re: [IUG] Courtesy notices

Hi,
We do not have any control over what comes out on these notices. I
don't remember ever asking III to change this particular one but I do
know we were told on other Circ Notices that they are immutable, fixed
in stone. Maybe some day this new printing scheme coming with 2007 will
trickle down to these things that matter.
Thanks,

Our Head of Public Services has requested that courtesy notices be
emailed without any specific book information appearing (no author,
title, call number or barcode). Can we block these fields from
appearing? If we can, would it affect any other notices (overdue fees,
holds, renewal notices, etc.)? The patron's name and our text messages
can appear.
Thanks,
Eva
