To the best of my knowledge, the Create Lists module doesn't allow you
to search based on multiple occurrences of a field (although given the
number of people who need to do this, perhaps it should). The way
around this is to create a list of all records that have an 092 field
(i.e. MARC 092 is not blank). From there, you export data to a
spreadsheet like MS Excel. In this case, you would export the bib
record number and the 092 fields (in that order).
Once you've exported the data from your list into a .txt file, you can
import it into your spreadsheet. If you're using MS Excel 2003, you
would go to the Data menu then select Import External Data then Import
Data. If you're using MS Excel 2007, you would select the Data tab then
Get External Data menu then From Text. Tell Excel that you have a
Delimited file, and tell it which characters you used as to separate the
data (commas are usually the default characters that separate fields and
semicolons are usually the default characters that separate multiple
occurrences of a field).
Once the data has been imported, select the 3rd column and sort the
column in ascending order. Make sure you "expand the selection" so the
right bib record number stays with the right 092. This will make all
the records with a 2nd 092 sort to the top of your list. Keep sorting
columns, moving from the left to the right, until a column comes up
empty after you sort it. Now you should pretty easily be able to see
which bib records have multiple 092s. Unfortunately, you'll have to
edit these bib records manually if you want to get rid of the additional
fields.
Hope this helps!
