Tyra,
Right now we only allow our patrons to change their E-mail address. We
are considering Telephone and well, because if it fails they will still
get printed notices.

Subject: [IUG] Allowing Patrons to Update Address, etc.
Good Friday morning everyone!
Are there any public libraries out there who allow patrons to update
their personal information (address/phone/email, etc.) through the Web
OPAC?
What experiences have you had? Good/Bad?
We are in the midst of a Refresher and thought this might be nice. The
more we think about it, however, the more we think it might not be.
We're wondering if some might just completely delete their
address/phone, etc. If they're at Collections, then we'd never find
them.
Thanks for your thoughts!
Tyra
