Sorry for the late answer, I've been away from the Library.
There is one possibility I can think of for item records:
In circulation parameters, under "Time to shelve" you can do a setup for
new item records. A phrase such as "Just arrived" can appear in the
status area of the item record in the OPAC for a preset period of time.
#102627 in the manual.

Subject: [IUG] item record codes / recieving / promptcat question
Somebody at my library system is insisting that there is an Innovative
setting that causes the ITEM record location code and/or status code to
automatically change 3 days after the associated ORDER record receive
date
has been filled in. This would be used in conjunction with PromptCat
(promptcat books would be received, and 3 days later the item records
associated with order records would have their codes magically change).
I
can't find anything in the manual that resembles this, but we all know
how
easy it is to find things in the manual. I'm pretty sure Daily Link
Maintenance is *not* what I'm looking for.
Does anybody out there know what setting/process/manual page this is, if
it
exists?
