You are correct that basically any barcode reader that can read codabar (which should
Be all of them) should be usable with Millennium.

I would recommend AGAINST the wands which generally require direct contact with the
Barcode and FOR the "gun style". We've used the Symbol 1006 and 1902s and are very 
Happy with them. Pricing is not all that different than for the wand you  listed.

We are looking to get some new barcode scanners. I looked in the
archives and found some recommendations but actually a lot of them are
more for vendors rather than specific scanners. I am rather overwhelmed
with all the choices out there. Am I wrong in thinking most any scanner
that can read my type of barcode (codabar) will do alright? Has anyone
found a type that wouldn't work with Millennium? And I don't mean just
for the connectivity- obviously I know the USB vs RS232 or six pin
connection issue. For instance I am wondering about the Wasp WWR 2905
