Uh-oh. This is reported as a Known Issue that is resolved in 2006 1.3
("Some libraries report that patrons cannot edit or remove preferred
searches"). We've had it come and go across various releases (or maybe
it was always there but just moved around), and it's currently happening
with us as you describe. We were hoping 1.3 would correct it for good.
We're on 2006 1.1 and currently scheduled for the 1.3 upgrade.

Subject: [IUG] preferred searches
After moving to 2006 1.3 we are encountering this oddity.
If you have saved preferred searches and you try to remove one [ mark to
remove / cancel selected ], it not only doesn't delete the search, it
creates doubles of some, if not all, of your searches. Then when you
try to eliminate the doubles, it may eliminate some but double others.
(It never seems to triple a search)
If you completely clear the entries and re-enter them, it seems to be OK
-- so far.
Has anyone else seen this?
