I'm not sure what the problem is, but it probably has something to do with SuSE's pretty bad implementations of java. The same installation problem occurs with other lax based installations such as Oracle's ODI and the Zend Studio installers [
http://www.zend.com/forums/index.php?t=msg&goto=3494 ] on SuSE 10.x. Following the guide at the end of the Zend thread will allow you install the Millennium client, but it won't allow you to run it once you get it installed.
I would put a call into the helpdesk and have them forward it onto whomever at Innovative is responsible for maintaining the linux installation program.
Finally, though, with openSUSE 10.3, you can again use the manual installation method [
http://innovativeusers.org/list/archives/2006/msg03676.html ], which wouldn't work with 9.3-10.2 for some unfathomable reason, which is why we stuck with 9.2 for so long.
Also, you can alternatively install 1.5.0_6 alongside 1.5.0_12 and just point the batch file at that JRE location and then you can run Millennium with Innovative's recommended version rather than the latest from SuSE.

David
