FYI, IE 6/7 appear to have a one size larger "medium" default font size
in the browser than Firefox and others. So if you use em's, the same
font & size will appear larger in IE than others. If you're determined
to use em's, you could use the conditional statement for IE as mentioned
by Mark where you can specify a font-size of "small" in the body style,
which will make the font size consistent between IE and other browsers.

Lisa
You might want to use pixel size instead of pct. for your fonts;
easier to get it right and it seems to work more consistently across
browsers. Some people say there are ie bugs in the handling of px
vs % and em, but I haven't noticed any big problems with ie6 and 7.
Also, the ie_styles.css is not on your dynamically-generated ie
pages so you'll probably need a little javascript in wwwoptions
(INSERTTAG_INHEAD) to sneak the conditional stylesheet in there.

Mark

Subject: [IUG] [iug] Font sizes in webOPAC pages
Hi all
Can anyone tell me what controls font sizes in webOPAc pages?
We have moved to WebPac Pro a few weeks ago, and find that certain parts
of the catalogue have larger font than others.
Specifically, the holdings table is larger than the rest of the page -
do any search in
http://libraryqa.ecu.edu.au/ - see the brief keyword
results display, and the full record display as well.
Also, the 'Available online' table displays as large font, as do the
brief and extended index displays (e.g. author, title searches).
I have tried putting font-size statements in the relevant parts of the
bib_display.html or ie_styles.css files, but these changes have no
effect.
Can anyone suggest a solution?
Kind regards
