I'm looking at this in IE6 and FF2 under WinXP, and although the items table
changes size and pushes the record to the left, I don't see any overlap or
disappearing off the page, even if I start sizing down the window. I wonder
why you're seeing different - do you have screenshots perhaps?

Subject: [IUG] Items table problem

I wonder if anyone can help with this. As I try various configurations for
briefcit and bib_display, the items table will sometimes overlap an adjacent
cell, even going beyond the border of the table in which it is embedded.
I've tried cell padding, adding empty rows and columns around it, put in
non-breaking spaces on either side, etc., all to no avail. For instance,
take a look at this link in IE vs. Firefox and Netscape. (I haven't had a
chance to try this particular configuration in Safari, but that's actually
the browser that's been the biggest problem for this.)

I have the cell in which the items token is located set to left-justified,
with an empty 10-pixel column to the right and to the left of it.

If I put the items token on the right side of the display, it will overlap
the text to the right of it.

Is there any style setting or html trick that will prevent this from
happening?
