Wow - beautiful job Tyson. You really milked those HTML templates for all
they're worth and more!
We also just finished a redesign, although not quite as suave as CalPoly's.

We're somewhat limited by our College's web template - highly table-based,
which was recently facelifted by applying new formatting to the 199x tables
(check out archive.org - it's not responding right now, so I can't include a
link), for a bit of a Panda's Thumb effect where old cells are no longer
used. One problem is that the template breaks in IE on some screens with
mega-nested tables inside our own mega-nested tables - that's my next WebPac
project.

Subject: [IUG] Redesigned!
The Robert E. Kennedy Library is pleased to announce our redesigned
catalog:
http://poetry.lib.calpoly.edu
We'll be working out some small minor kinks over the next few days, but
please let me know if you find any problems.
Looks like I'm done buying Advil in bulk! Until the next redesign,
anyways...
Thanks to those of you who helped along the way, particularly Bob Duncan who
saved me a few calls to Innovative. As a web developer by trade, I was
surprised by the complexity of the library catalog side of things. Record
browses, bib records, and display definition files, oh my! Hopefully I can
return the favor to the IUG by answering any questions you may have about
how/why/what we did.
Regards,
Tyson
