The Carolina Innovative Users Group (CIUG) will be meeting November
15-16 at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina.
Conference agenda to be posted after proposals have been received.
Call for Program Proposals
Carolina Innovative Users Group Fall 2007
The Carolina Innovative Users Group (CIUG) is looking for Millennium
users who would like to present at the November 15-16 CIUG
workshop/meeting. This will be held at Furman University in Greenville,
South Carolina. There are a variety of needs including both novice and
advanced user-level programs. Some areas include:
* WebBridge
* Electronic Resource Management
* Overview of a module or a function for beginners
* Real-life examples from libraries
* Programs that delve with more depth into one smaller area or
function
* "Nuts and bolts", "this is how to do it", "what it can do for
you" and "we had this problem and here is what we did about it" programs
* Any Millennium module which you have mastered which would be
helpful to others
In addition to the above, we will have breakout sessions to help spawn
discussion on the different modules. If you would like to lead/host one
of these, please let us know. These modules are:
Database Management
Serials/Acquisitions
Web OPAC
Circulation
Systems
