FWIW, we are about to do a system-wide inventory, and have purchased
Metrologic Optimus S scanners (RS232 to USB interface). We aren't using
Innovative's inventory module, rather we are developing a run-it-overnight
AutoIt script to drop a code into item records for analysis.
Remind me to post again about our experience with the scanners after we've
started using them.
