RE: [IUG] ICON_RECORDLINK fails

We have found this to be true as well, i.e., you can only have the %s
appear once. We opened a call with the helpdesk and have been advised
that the issue has been submitted to software engineering for
resolution.

And for what it's worth, this problem is listed in the "known issues" as
being "in review with software engineering" (search for "icon").

Hi Peter,

We upgraded to WebPAC Pro about an hour ago ;^)
In the midst of trying to fix everything else that "works but something
picky is wrong" (mostly stylesheet stuff), I discovered this exact same
problem.

If you use more than one %s in the WWWOption, the text from the
WWWOption and the rest of bib_display.html doesn't display (the code on
the page below where the ICON_RECORDLINK code is injected).

Any insights from our fellow Pro sites?
Thanks,
-Steve

Looking at the new information on the bottom of the FAQ for WebPac Pro,
to my poor befuddled brain it seems both to contradict itself in terms
of how the WWWOption must be written and in showing how the final
example will display on the screen.

http://csdirect.iii.com/faq/webpacpro.shtml

So I've experimented with a variety of combinations. I'm finding that no
matter what, if there's just one %s, the text displays just fine, and
links correctly to the permanent URL. If, however--as per the
instructions--I add a second %s, the option fails and nothing appears on
the page. What I want, but can't get, is something like this to appear
on the bottom of each bib.
display:

Permanent URL for this record:
<http://library.msmnyc.edu/record=b1096412>
http://library.msmnyc.edu/record=b1096412

What am I doing wrong? If anybody on Pro has this working correctly, I'd
appreciate knowing how you did it.
