We here are still on the RH 3.0 - very stable. If moving to new
hardware & an OS change then you should definitely go with the latest
III supported Red Hat Linux release.

For ILS's and other in-house UNIX servers the RH Linux is good way to
bring an efficient & effective standardization among the too many Unix
flavors.

Is anyone running Millennium on a Red Hat Enterprise Linux (4.0) server?
Are there any particular quirks or difficulties we should look out for?

We're planning a server migration from HP-UX to Red Hat Enterprise Linux
and are interested in any comments and experience others have had.

We are a software only site, on an Oracle database. Currently on
Release 2006 and hoping to move to WebPac Pro soon.

Thanks
Clare
