Hello,
I recently encountered a problem in accessing Millennium at home. I had no
problems at home (wireless via DSL) until I went to a colleague's house and
tried to connect using her wireless connection. I could not connect at her
house and then could not connect at home, either. She had not been able to
connect, either, which is why I went to investigate.
Through the process of elimination, I am thinking it has something to do
with the wireless security. I have WEP at home and she has WPA-PSK. I have
no problem connecting wirelessly at our University, but it is an open
network.
Nothing I've tried has been able to resolve this problem, but fortunately it
only involves Millennium. Everything else works wirelessly, just not my
Millennium. It doesn't seem to matter what OS or Java Version are used
(affected both XP and Vista and 1.42 and 1.50).
Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Hi George,
I assume that you've heard that some of us not using wireless also
cannot connect from home?
