We have had similar problems (mainly in Serials), as have other Millennium
customers (search the IUG list archives). One thing that helped a little was
downgrading from milup150_06.exe to milup142_08.exe (which you're already
using). This suggests that the version of the Java JRE has some bearing on
the problem.

Another thing that helps is ensuring that the PC has sufficient RAM (The
specs say 512KB is the minimum. I would say 1 GB is the realistic minimum).

Our trouble call to Innovative is still open, but the problem is something
we can grudgingly live with until a fix is provided.
