Hello all --
I'm working for the first time (my first, that is) on customizing our
WebPAC, and getting familiar with the system of tokens and HTML templates.
We have a college-wide web template that has a text-based navbar on the left
side. Among others, I would like to put the link for patron record (usually
generated by {patronrecord}) in that bar. Unfortunately, it carries that
little image with it as the contents of <a>, and looking at WWWOPTIONS, it
seems as though all we can do is change the path to the image -- we can't
substitute text.
(See sample of what we are shooting for:
http://jpua.touro.edu/staging/opac/sample-opacmenu.html)
Is there a way to get the system to return only the URL to the patron's
record, so that we can use our own discretion about the appearance of the
link? I'm looking into JS hacks involving "injection attacks" from the
BUT_PLOGOUT attribute in WWWOPTIONS, but somehow I doubt the system will
play along. If worst comes to worst I suppose we can do something
outrageous like make a GIF of the way the text would appear and use that as
our PLOGOUT...
Thank you very much,
