Hi,
By "view another member's account", does this mean that linked patrons
can see what others have checked out? This doesn't sound good?

Be aware that this is not a "family card." With linked patrons any
member of the group may view another member's account. So parents may
view a child's account, but the child can also view the parent's
account. We have found that we can accomplish much the same thing with
what we call "adult designate" forms and just adding a note to the
parent or spouse account.
Depending on what you want to accomplish a low-tech or no-tech solution
may work better.

I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has used III's Linked
Patrons product. We are thinking about it as a way to group family
members and parents/children in our system. From the documentation it
appears to be fairly straightforward, but you never know. Are there
issues we need to be aware (or beware) of? Pros and cons? Thanks for any
information you can provide.
