I used to use the linux client prior to when III provided an installer.
The last few times I tried the installer
with Fedora 3 I ran into problems and didn't pursue it much beyond that.
But I am getting increasingly
frustrated with windows these days and have decided to run linux
entirely on my desktop (dell/intel) pc.
Of course a stable millennium client will be essential. Most other tools
I can find better or at least equivalent
products on linux. Alas marcedit will be missed. But I am digressing.
When you mention problems on Ubuntu is it with the installer, or
attempting a manual install?

luck with either 6.10 or 7.04
